city-westThe tournament, famous for the double-start format, will be held from October 2-8 at the Citywest Hotel in Dublin, featuring 32 players competing live on Sky Sports.

The field will include reigning World Grand Prix champion Robert Thornton, who won the title for the first time by defeating two-time winner Michael van Gerwen in a thrilling final last year.

11-time champion Phil Taylor, two-time winner James Wade and reigning World Champion Gary Anderson are also set to be amongst the competitors, with the world’s top 16 joined by 14 qualifiers from the ProTour Order of Merit and the top two qualifiers from Ireland/Northern Ireland.

The Unibet World Grand Prix will kick off with the first round being split across two nights on Sunday October 2 and Monday October 3, before the second round is held on Tuesday October 4 and Wednesday October 5.

The quarter-finals are held in one bumper session on Thursday October 6, with the semi-finals on Friday October 7 and the final on Saturday October 8.
